TAIPING: Various government and private agencies collaborated under the One Stop Centre (OSC) Sejahtera Sosial Negeri Perak program held at the Advanced Technology Training Center (ADTEC), Taiping recently.
YB Salbiah, the Chairperson of the Women, Family, Social Welfare, Entrepreneurship, and Cooperative Development Committee at the state level stated that the program aims to bring together various agencies under one roof to facilitate the people, especially families listed in the e-Kasih (underprivileged families) database, in accessing specific services and assistances offered.
“We, on the government’s behalf, sincerely hope that all aid recipients can utilize the assistance provided to the best of their ability and wholeheartedly commit to the programs they participate in, enabling them to break free from poverty.
“Utilize to the fullest extent all initiatives provided by this Government so that we can collectively build a respected and exemplary nation recognized by the global community,” she said in a statement on her Facebook.
Salbiah expresses gratitude to various parties who have collaborated to realize the mentioned program, in the state government’s effort to assist the underprivileged.
“I express thousands of thanks, especially to the State Development Office of Perak, the District and Land Office of Larut Matang and Selama, Taiping Municipal Council (MPT), Selama District Council (MDS), and the Secretariat for Women and Community Development of the State of Perak (Wanita Perak).
“In addition, everyone involved, including exhibitors from government and private agencies, in organizing this event,” she said.
